Correct Answer - Option 4 : A is false but R is true.
  • Cotton is grown in black soil that suits its mineral requirements. So, the assertion is false.
  • Laterite soil is rich in Iron and Aluminum and it is of red colour due to iron oxide. Rice, Ragi, Sugarcane, and Cashew nuts are cultivated mainly in this type of soil. So, the reason is true.

Hence, the Assertion is false and the reason is true.
