If ‘TABLET’ is coded as ‘7-26-25-15-22-7’, then how will you code ‘PACKET’?
1. 11-26-24-16-22-7
2. 11-26-24-16-22-6
3. 11-26-24-16-20-7
4. 11-26-23-16-22-7
5. 11-26-24-15-22-5

Correct Answer - Option 1 : 11-26-24-16-22-7

Here, each letter is coded by the numerical value obtained by subtracting its ‘position value’ in English alphabetical order, from 27, e g. T, A, B, L, E, and T are at 20th, 1st, 2rd, 12th, 5th, and 20th position in alphabetical order. So, their codes are (27–20), (27–1), (27–2), (27–12), (27-5) and (27–20) i.e. 7, 26, 25, 15, 22, and 7 respectively i.e., their backward order position.

T = 7
A = 26
B = 25
L = 15
E = 22
T = 7
By following the above pattern
P = 11
A = 26
C = 24
K = 16
E = 22
T = 7

Hence, 'PACKET' is coded as 11-26-24-16-22-7.
