Correct Answer - Option 2 : Force

CONCEPT:

  • Work is said to be done by a force when the body is displaced actually through some distance in the direction of the applied force.
    • The SI unit of work is Joule (J).
  • Force: The interaction which after applying on a body changes or try to change the state of rest or state of motion of the body is called force.
    • The SI unit of force is Newton (N).
  • Kinetic energy: The energy associated with the motion of a body is called kinetic energy.
    • The SI unit is joule (J).
  • Heat: The form of energy that transfers due to temperature difference is called heat.
    • The SI unit of heat is Joule (J).

EXPLANATION:

  • As the force is not any form of energy so the force doesn't have a unit as Joule. Hence option 2 is correct.
