Correct Answer - Option 1 : 3 : 2

Given:

A = 80% more than C

B = 20% more than C

Calculation:

According to the problem

\({\rm{A}} = \frac{{180}}{{100}}C = 1.8C\;\)      ---- (1)

\({\rm{B}} = \frac{{120}}{{100}}C = 1.2C\;\)      ---- (2)

divide equation 1 by 2

⇒ \(\frac{{\rm{A}}}{{\rm{B}}} = \frac{{1.8C}}{{1.2C}}\;\)

⇒ \(\frac{{\rm{A}}}{{\rm{B}}} = \frac{3}{2}\;\)

∴ The ratio of A to B is 3 ∶ 2
