Correct Answer - Option 1 : 32 minutes

Given:

A train takes 45 minutes to cover a certain distance at a speed of 80 km/h

His speed is increased by 125

Then how long will it take the train to cover 8/5 of the same distance

Formula used:

\(velocity= distance/time\)

Calculation:

Distance = velocity × time

Distance = 80 × 45 × 50/3

⇒ 60000 meter

Speed is increased by 125%

⇒ 80 + 80 × (125/100)

⇒ 180 km/hour

The train to cover 8/5 of the same distance

Distance = 60000 × (8/5)

⇒ 96000

So time is taken by train,

Time = distance/speed

⇒ (96000/180) × (3/50)

⇒ 32 minutes

Therefore, covered the distance by train in 32 minutes
