Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rs. 239

Given:

The Cost of 1 orange = Rs 5.50

The cost of 1 kg apple = Rs 80

Concept used:

1 dozen = 12

Calculation:

One and half dozen orange = 12 + 6 = 18

The cost of 18 orange = 18 × 5.50 = Rs 99

The cost of 1 kg apple = Rs 80

⇒ The cost of \(1{3\over4}\) kg apple = Rs 80 × (7/4) = Rs 140

Total cost of orange and apples = Rs 99 + Rs 140 = Rs 239
