  • Agra Fort:
    • Agra Fort is also known as' Laal Quila,' is situated in Agra. In 1983, UNESCO tagged it as a World Heritage Site.
    • The fort is 2.5 kilometers away from the Taj Mahal. It was planned and built in the year 1565 A.D. by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar.
  • Ajanta Caves:
    • The Ajanta Caves are about 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments built from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 or 650 CE in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra state of India.
    • The Ajanta Caves were listed in 1983 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
