Correct Answer - Option 2 : If statement (II) is the cause and statement (I) is the effect.

As lockdown resulted in a lot of loss of revenue which could lead to dire consequences for the country, this can be a major cause for removing lockdown.

So, the government has decided to remove/relax the lockdown in a phased manner to open and revive the economy.

So, statement (II) is the cause, and statement (I) is the effect.

Hence, Option 2 is the correct answer.
