Correct Answer - Option 2 : 16,000

Calculation∶

MP = Rs. 23,000

Then, SP = MP - D% of MP

SP = 80% of MP = 80% of 23000

SP = 18,400

\(CP = \left( {\frac{{SP}}{{1 + g\%}}} \right)\)

⇒ Rs. (18400/115) × 100

⇒ Rs. 16,000 

∴ The cost price is Rs. 16,000
