Correct Answer - Option 1 : Monday

Number of days from January 1, 2009, to August 15, 2009

⇒ 30 + 28 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 15 = 226 days

⇒ 226 days = 32 weeks + 2 odd days

Saturday + 2 odd days = Monday

Hence, Monday is the correct answer.
