Correct Answer - Option 1 : Statement (A) is the cause and statement (B) is its effect.

Statement A describes what effective measures did Mr. Modi adopt after coming to power.

And Statement B demonstrates the result, which shows the generation of the perception that the International prestige of India was growing and it led to his massive victory in the second term as well.

So statement A is the cause that led to the generation of the perception and thereby the victory.

Hence, Statement (A) is the cause, and statement (B) is its effect.
