Correct Answer - Option 4 : Both the statements (A) and (B) are effects of independent causes.

Option 4.Both the statements (A) and (B) are effects of independent causes.

Neither statement corroborates the other for why it is happening.

The ideals, dreams, and wisdom of the Indian people cannot be the cause leading to the assertion that India must break free from its past. Also, the inability to forget the ideals, dreams, and wisdom cannot be the effect of the first statement. They cannot be the result of a common cause aswell as the two events are stating opposite things.

Hence, both statements are effects of independent causes.

Hence, option 4 is correct.
