Correct Answer - Option 2 : has a right to study in the regular school where there are special provisions for him.

Learning disability is a syndrome found in children of normal or above intelligence characterized by specific difficulties in learning to read (dyslexia), to write (dysgraphia), and to do grade-appropriate mathematics (dyscalculia).

Education of a child with a learning disability-

  • Inclusion strategies are the provisions by state and national authorities that students with learning disabilities should be educated with nondisabled students of their age.
  • Additional instructional resources can be used for children with LD while teaching them in a general classroom.
  • Teachers should make effort to adopt such methods to enhance the understanding and participation of LD children with other children.
  • Feedback and corrections are used and are shown to affect children’s participation and performance positively.
  • Peer mediated instruction and computer-assisted instruction are the other methods used.
  • An individualized teaching program is required so that the child may get specific instruction in the areas of specific need, like reading, writing, or math.

Thus it is clear that a child with Learning Disability has a right to study in a regular school where there are special provisions for him.

Dysphasia
