l. 2x² – 19x + 45 = 0

⇒ 2x² – 10x – 9x + 45 = 0

⇒ 2x(x - 5) – 9(x - 5) = 0

⇒ (2x - 9) (x - 5) = 0

⇒ x = 9/2, 5

ll. 3y² – 17y + 20 = 0

⇒ 3y² – 12y – 5y + 20 = 0

⇒ 3y(y - 4) – 5(y - 4) = 0

⇒ (3y – 5) (y - 4) = 0

⇒ y = 5/3, 4
