Correct Answer - Option 3 : 3.84% increase

Given:

Salary increased by 18 % and decreased by 12 %.

Formula used:

Increase or decrease in salary = a – b – (ab/100)%

Where, positive sign means increment and negative sign means decrement

Calculation:

 ⇒ 18 – 12 – [(18 × 12)/100] %

 ⇒ (6 – 2.16)%

⇒ 3.84%

There will be 3.84% increase in salary.
