Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : \(6 \frac{3}{8}\)

Given:

Suhas and Nitin invested money in a ratio = 8 : 3

Concept used:

Partnership = Investment × time

Calculation:

Let Suhas invested money for months be 't'.

⇒ (8 × t) : 3 × 12 = 5 : 4

⇒ 32t = 180

⇒ t = 180/32

Nitin invested alone

⇒ 12 - 180/32

⇒ \(6 \frac{3}{8}\)

∴ Nitin invested the money alone for \(6 \frac{3}{8}\).
