Given:

Anil alone can do a piece of work in 6 days

Binu alone can do a piece of work in 8 days

Anil, Binu, and Chitra together can do a piece of work in 3 days

Work undertook for an amount of Rs 240

Concept used:

work = time × efficiency

For the same work, wage ∝ efficiency

Calculation:

Work	Time	Efficiency
Anil	6	24/6 = 4
Binu	8	24/8 = 3
Anil + Binu + Chitra	3	24/3 = 8
Total work (LCM of time)	24

The efficiency of Chitra = total efficiency of all - (efficiency of Anil + Binu)

The efficiency of Chitra = 8 - (4 + 3) = 1

The ratio of efficiency of Anil, Binu, and Chitra = 4 ∶ 3 ∶ 1

Amount paid in the same proportion.

So, amount paid to Anil more than Chitra = 4 unit - 1 unit = 3 unit

Total amount = 4 unit + 3 unit + 1 unit = 8 unit 

8 unit = 240

Then, 1 unit = Rs 30

Extra amount got by Anil, 3 unit = 3 × 30 = Rs 90

 ∴ Anil received Rs 90 more than Chitra.
