Given:

The data S = (3, 5, 7, 8, 8, 14, 19, 93)

Formula used:

Mean = sum of number ÷ N

Median = {(N/2 + 1)th and N/2th}/2

Calculation

S = (3, 5, 7, 8, 8, 14, 19, 93)

Mean = 157 ÷ 8 = 19.62

Median = (4th + 5th)/2 = (8 + 8)/2 = 8

Hence difference = 19.62 – 8 = 11.62
