Given:

Time taken by Shivangi to walk from one place and return from the vehicle at the same place = 6 hours 15 minutes = 25/4 hours

Time taken by Shivangi to cover the distance on both sides by walking = 7 hours 45 minutes = 31/4 hours

Calculations:

Let time taken by walk and vehicle be t_w and t_v respectively.

t_w + t_w = 31/4

⇒ 2t_w = 31/4

⇒ t_w = 31/8 hours

t_w + t_v = 25/4

⇒ (31/8) + t_v = 25/4

⇒ t_v = (25/4) - (31/8)

⇒ t_v = (50 - 31)/8

⇒ t_v = 19/8 hours

Time taken by vehicle on both sides = 2 × 19/8
