Correct Answer - Option 2 : Wrestling

Five Players - A, B, C, D and E

Five States - Assam, Bihar, Karnataka, Delhi and Gujrat

Five indoor sports- Archery, Chess, Shooting, Table tennis and Wrestling

1. A’ is a ‘Shooter’ from Gujrat.

2. ‘Chess’ player is from Bihar but is not ‘D’.

3. ‘C’ is an ‘Archer’.

4. ‘Wrestler’ is from Delhi and is not E.

5. E is from ‘Assam’.

Players

A

Gujarat

Shooter

B

C

Archer

D

E

 Assam

Chess Player from Bihar is Player B, as only B’s column for both sport and state is vacant (‘Chess’ player is from Bihar but is not ‘D’)

Wrestler from Delhi is Player D as only D’s column for both sport and state is vacant.

A

Gujarat

Shooter

C

D

Wrestler

E

Now only one state Karnataka and one sport Table Tennis is left which will be placed in the vacant positions.

D

Wrestler

So, sport played by D is wrestling.
