    • As being the family member of Maharana of Mewar, he did not confront openly, but he gave shelter to many patriotic revolutionaries in distress without caring about the consequences.

  • Tatya Tope was a leader in the Indian freedom struggle of 1857.

    • His birth name was Ramachandra Panduranga Yawalkar.
    • He was one of the notable generals of the 1857 revolt.
