FORMULA USED:

Area of the rectangular plot = (l × b) sq. unit

CALCULATION:

Area of the rectangular plot = (l × b) sq. unit

⇒ (110 × 65)

⇒ 7150 m²

Area of the plot excluding the path = (110 - 5) × (65 - 5)

⇒ 105 × 60 

⇒ 6300 m²

Area of the path = (Area of the rectangular plot - Area of the plot excluding the path)

⇒ 7150 - 6300

⇒ 850 m²

Cost of graveling the path = (850 × 80/100)

∴ Cost of graveling the path Rs680
