  • Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel (31 October 1875 – 15 December 1950):
    • He was popularly known as Sardar Patel.
    • He was an Indian politician.
    • He served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of India.
    • He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.
  • After the success of the oil Satyagraha movement, the women of Bardoli given this title to Sardar Patel.

    • He was a member of the Nehru-Gandhi family and the father of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
