Correct Answer - Option 4 : E is elder to B

1) A is elder to B while C and D are elder to E. → A > B, C > E and D > E

2) C is elder to B → C > B

3) E lies between A and C

Case I: D > C > E > A > B

Case II: C > D > E > A > B

Option 1:  A is elder to C → False (As, C > A)

Option 2:  C is elder to D → False (Only case II satisfies the given statement, but nor case I)

Option 3:  D is elder to C → False (Only case I satisfies the given statement, but nor case II)

Option 4:  E is elder to B → True (As, E > B)

Hence, ‘E is elder to B’ is the correct answer.
