Correct Answer - Option 1 : 45

Given:

Length of cuboidal box = 13 cm

Breadth of cuboidal box = 11 cm

Hight of cuboidal box = 9 cm

A cubical box has side = 12 cm

Side of small cubical box = 1 cm

Tanu wants pack small cubes boxes = 3060

Formula required:

Volume of cuboidal box = length × breath × height

The volume of cube = side3

Calculations:

Volume of cuboidal box = 13 × 11 × 9

⇒ 1287 cm3

The volume of cube = 12 × 12 × 12

⇒ 1728 cm3

Total volume of both the boxes (cube and cuboid) = 1287 + 1748

⇒ 3015 cm3

Samll cube volume = 1 × 1 × 1

⇒ 1 cm3

The number of small cubical boxes fit into both cubical cuboidal boxes = 3015/1

⇒ 3015

After 3015 fits in then, The number of the cubes left unpacked in these boxes = 3060 - 3015

⇒ 45

∴ The number of the cubes left unpacked in these boxes is 45
