Correct Answer - Option 1 : 280 m

Given:

The side of the square is 14 cm and the dimension of the rectangular sheet is 3.5 m × 2.8 m.

Formula Used:

Area of square = Side × Side

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

The perimeter of square = 4 × side

Calculation:

The number of squares obtained from the rectangular sheet = (3.5 m × 2.8 m)/ (14 cm × 14 cm)

The number of square obtained = (350 cm × 280 cm)/(14 cm × 14 cm) = 500

Now, perimeter of one square = 4 × 14 = 56 cm

Perimeter of all the square obtained = 500 × 56 = 28000 cm = 280 m

∴ The perimeter of all the squares is 280 m.
