Correct Answer - Option 4 : 20 years

Given:

P is two years older than Q who is twice as old as R.

The total of the ages of P, Q and R be 52

Calculations:

Let R's age be x years.

So, Q's age = 2x years.

P's age = (2x + 2) years.

According to the question

⇒ (2x + 2) + 2x + x = 52

⇒ 5x = 50

⇒ x = 10

Q's age = 2x = 20 years

Q’s age is 20 years
