Given:

Rajesh and Radha present age ratio = 4 ∶ 3

After 50 years’ ratio will become = 9 ∶ 8

Calculation

Let the Rajesh age = 4x and Radha age = 3x

According to the question,

⇒ (4x + 50)/(3x + 50) = 9/8

⇒ 32x + 400 = 27x + 450

⇒ x = 10

Rajesh’s present age = 4 × 10 = 40 years.

∴ Rajesh’s present age is 40 years
