- The Third Battle of Panipat was fought between The Maratha Empire and The Afghan Army took place on 14 January 1761 at Panipat.

- The extent of the losses in this battle on both sides is heavily puzzled by many historians, but it is believed that the number of losses is between (60,000–70,000) were killed in the battle.

- At last, the battle was won by the Afghan Army which was led by Ahmad Shah Durrani. This war was the result of declining of The Maratha Empire.
