Correct Answer - Option 3 : 27

The ratio of the present ages of S and T is 7 : 9.

Let the common multiple be x.

So, the present age of S = 7x and the present age of T = 9x.

The sum of the present age of S and T is 48 years.

According to question:

7x + 9x = 48

16x = 48

x = 3

Age of T = 9x

= 9 × 3 = 27 years

Hence, the age of T is 27 years.
