Correct Answer - Option 4 : 3 : 5

Given:

Distance = 60 km

Time taken by bus = 1 hr 15 min = 1.25 hr

Time taken by car = 45 min = (3/4) hr

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

Speed of Bus

⇒ 60/1.25

⇒ 48 km/hr

Speed of car

⇒ 60/(3/4)

⇒ 80 km/hr

Ratio of speed of bus to the speed of car

⇒ 48 : 80

⇒ 3 : 5

∴ The ratio is 3 : 5.
