Correct Answer - Option 2 : 12 : 1

Given:

Ratio of area of two square = 144 : 1

Formula used:

Area of square = (side)2

Ratio of perimeter = 4 × side

Calculation:

(Area1)2/(Area2)2= 144/1

⇒ (side1)2/ (side2)2=144/1

 ⇒ Side1/Side2 = 12/1

Ratio of perimeter = (4 × side1)/(4 × side2)

⇒ (4 × 12)/(4 × 1)

⇒ 12 : 1

∴ The ratio of their perimeter is 12 : 1
