Matangini Hazra:

She was an Indian revolutionary who participated in the Indian independence movement until she was shot dead by the British Indian police in front of the Tamluk Police Station, Midnapore District.
She was affectionately known as "Gandhi buri" and "Bangla for old lady Gandhi".
In 1920, she took part in the Non-Cooperation Movement and was arrested for breaking the Salt Act.
She also participated in the 'Chowkidari Tax Bandha' (abolition of chowkidari tax) movement.

Pritilata Waddedar	She was Bengal's First Woman Martyr. She was inspired by the valiant freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. Pritilata was part of several raids and attacks on symbols of British power in India like the Telephone & Telegraph offices and the reserve police line.
Sarojini Naidu	She was an Indian political activist, a member of the Indian National Congress, and a poet. She was the first female Indian governor. Bina Das	She was an Indian revolutionary and nationalist from West Bengal. She was a member of Chhatri Sangha, a semi-revolutionary organization for women in Kolkata.
