Correct Answer - Option 3 : 19000

Given :

Price of 2nd mobile phone = 35000 rupees

Average price of both the phones = 27000 rupees

Formula used :

Average = total sum of observation/Total number of observation

Calculations :

Total price of both the phone = average price × no of phones

⇒  27000 × 2 = 54000 rupees

Price of 1st phone + price of 2nd phone = 54000 rupees

Price of the 1st phone = 54000 - price of 2nd phone

⇒  54000 - 35000

⇒  19000 rupees

∴ The price of the 1st phone is 19000 rupees
