Correct Answer - Option 3 : 13 minutes

Given:

If the speed of man is 50 km/hr he reaches the destination 17 minutes late and If the speed of man is 60 km/hr he reaches the destination 12 minutes late.

Formula/Concept used:

Speed = Distance/time

Time = Distance/speed

Calculation:

Let the distance covered by man is x km

∴ x/50 – x/60 = (17 – 12)/60

⇒ x = 25 km

Now, Actual time taken by man = (25/50) × 60 – 17 = 13 minutes

∴ The actual time taken by man is 13 minutes
