Given:

Formula used/Concept Used:

Speed = Distance/time

Average speed = (Total distance)/Total time

Calculation:

1 day 6 hr = 30 hr

As we know that to calculate the average speed we need total distance and total time

∴ Average speed = [1200/(30 + 20)] = 24 km/hr
