Correct Answer - Option 3 : Either I or II follow

Given statements: P > O = N < J > K; K ≥ M > T > R

On combining: P > O = N < J > K ≥ M > T > R

Conclusions:

I. T ≤ N → False (As N < J > K ≥ M > T, Relation between T and N cannot be determined because the symbols are in reverse order)

II. N < T → False (As N < J > K ≥ M > T, Relation between T and N cannot be determined because the symbols are in reverse order)

Both the statements are wrong then either and or case will apply.

Hence, Either I or II follows.

 Condition for either or.

1. If all three possible conditions (<, >, =) between any two entities are included in conclusions, it would be a case of ‘either-or’.

2.  i) If both the predicates are the same in 2 conclusions.

ii) Both conclusions are false individually.

iii) On combining both the conclusions, if the condition follows, it would be ‘either - or’ case
