Correct Answer - Option 3 : 48

Calculation:

The number of candidates who qualify in bank D = 20/100 × 980 = 196

The number of candidates who do not qualify in bank D = 980 – 196 = 784

The number of candidates who qualify in bank B = 26/100 × 2200 = 572

The number of candidates who do not qualify in bank B = 2200 – 572 = 1628

According to the question,

⇒ 784/1628 × 100  = 48.15

∴ The number of candidates who did not qualify in bank D was approximately 48% of the candidates who did not qualify in bank B
