Correct Answer - Option 3 : 52

Given :

kohli total innings = 10

Runs scored by Kohli in 10th Innings  = 106

Average runs increased by 6 runs

Formula Used:

Batting average = Total runs scored / total innings

Calculation:

Let us take the Batting average of Kohli be x

New average = x + 6

Total runs scored = 9x + 106

Total innings = 10

According to the question,

New Batting average = Total runs scored / total innings

⇒ x + 6 = (9x + 106)/10

⇒10x + 60 = 9x + 106

⇒ x = 46

New average = 46 + 6 ⇒ 52

∴ New batting average of virat kohli is 52
