Correct Answer - Option 2 : 75

Given:

Marks obtained in Hindi, Chemistry and Mathematics = 150 + marks obtained in Hindi

Formula used:

Average = Sum of observations/Number of observations

Calculation:

Let the marks obtained by the student in Hindi Chemistry, and Mathematics be H, C and M respectively

⇒ H + C + M = 150 + H

⇒ C + M = 150

Required average = (C + M)/2

⇒ 150/2

⇒ 75

The average marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics is 75
