Correct Answer - Option 2 : 70

Given:

The average of 12 numbers = 35

Formula used:

Average = Sum of values/number of values

Calculation:

The sum of 12 numbers

⇒ 35 × 12

⇒ 420

Each number multiplied by 2

The sum of numbers multiplied by 2

⇒ 420 × 2

⇒ 840

The New average of 12 numbers

⇒ 840/12

⇒ 70

∴ The required average is 70.
