The energy of the electron in the second and third Bohr,s orbits of the hydrogen atom is - 5.42 x 10-12 erg and  - 2.41 x 10-12 erg respectively. Calculate the wavelength of the emitted radiation when the electron drops from the third to the second orbit.

Given that : The energy of the electron in second Bohr's orbit (E2) =  5.42 x 10-12 erg.

The energy of the electron in third Bohr's orbit (E3) = 2.41 x 10-12 erg.
