Correct Answer - Option 1 : 45

Given:

Total number of sweets = 405

Formula used:

Total number of sweets = Total number of children × sweets received by each child

Calculation:

Let the number of children be n

Sweets received by each child = n / 5

⇒ n × n / 5 = 405

⇒ n2 = 2025

∴ n = 45
