What is the maximum number of electrons that may be present in all the atomic orbitals with principal quantum number 3 and the azimuthal quantum number 2 ?

Principal quantum number (n) = 3

Azimuthal quantum number (l) = 2

Total values of m = - l to + I

So, m = -2,-1,0,+1,+2

's' has two values of each value of m

thus,   s = + 1/2, -1/2 ...... 10 times

Therefore, the total number of electrons are 10
