Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : 1971-1981

Formula used :

Natural growth rate = Birth rate - death rate

Calculations :

Natural growth rate for all years

For year 1911-1921 = 48.1 - 35.5 = 12.6

For year 1921-1931 = 16.4 - 36.3 = -19.9

For year 1931-1941 = 45.2 - 31.2 = 14

For year 1941-1951 = 39.9 - 27.4 = 12.5

For year 1951-1961 = 41.7 - 22.8 = 18.9

For year 1961-1971 = 41.1 - 18.9 = 22.2

For year 1971-1981 = 37.1 - 14.8 = 22.3

Here we can see that maximum difference is in the year 1971-1981

∴ The answer will be the option 4
