  • Rural population:
    • Out of the entire population of the Rajasthan state, 75.13% of people reside in rural areas as per the Census 2011.
    • 51,500,352 people out of the total population live in a rural area in which the number of males is 26,641,747 and females are 24,858,605. 
  • Urban population:
    • Out of the total population of Rajasthan, 24.87% of people live in urban regions.
    • The total figure of the population living in urban areas is 17,048,085 of which 8,909,250 are males and while the remaining 8,138,835 are females.
    • The urban population in the last 10 years has increased by 24.87 per cent.
