Correct Answer - Option 4 : 98.1 litres

Given:

A drum contains oil = 174 liters and 400 milliliters

This oil-filled into 32 containers.

Calculations:

1 liter = 1000 milliliters

174 liters and 400 millimeters = 174.4 liters

Each container filled oil = total liters of oil ÷ number of containers

⇒ 174.4 ÷ 32 = 5.45 liters

If 18 containers filled with oil = each container oil × number of containers

⇒ 18 × 5.45 = 98.1 liters

∴ The oil in 18 such containers = 98.1 liters
