Best answer

For He+, Z = 2 (Atomic no.) (RH  Rydberg's constant ) For Balmer series, n1 = 2, n2 = 4

The transition from n = 2 to n = 1 in H-atom will have the same wavelength as the transition from n = 4 ta n = 2 in He+ ion.
