Correct Answer - Option 1 : 35

A is 15th from the front in a column of boys.

So, there are 14 boys in the front of him.

There were thrice as many behind him as there were in front.

Total number of boys in the column = 14 + 1 + 14 × 3

= 15 + 42

= 57

Number of boys between A and the 7th boy from the end of the column = 57 - (15 + 7)

= 57 - 22

= 35

Hence, ‘35’ is the correct answer.
