Correct Answer - Option 4 : 16.66%

Given:

Cost price of 910 gram sugar is equal to the selling price of 780 gram sugar

Concept:

Profit% = {(Selling price – cost price)/cost price} × 100

Calculation:

Let Cost price of 1 gram be Rs. x

Let Selling price of 1 gram be Rs. y

From question,

910x = 780y

⇒ x/y = 6/7

If cost price is 6 unit then selling price of 7 unit

Profit% = {(7 – 6)/6} × 100 = 16.66%

∴ Profit percent on selling sugar is 16.66%
